I don’t date anymore. But I love listening to your advice! I have so many awful dating stories including the guy that tried to choke me! That’s a story for another day. Once in my mid 40s I went on a date and the first thing this guy did was inspect me. It was warm and I was wearing a dress and sandals and he said are you wearing self tanner on your legs? Mind you he said this was a voice dripping in disgust. Wtf ! I think that was my response to this kinda homely dude with no fashion sense who was wearing the same slacks and windbreaker as my elderly dad. I mean honestly ! These are the guys that want a supermodel. I’ve had so many horrible experiences on dating apps now i don’t bother. I got a puppy instead . But I love your column and advice !
